What is The Islaamic Studies Academy?

The Islaamic Studies Academy, an educational institution under the umbrella of IDRO and the Qatar Guest Center, offers a BA program in the fundamentals of Islamic Studies (Usool ud-Deen) in English. The institution and its program were set up by Dr. Abu Ameenah Bilal Philips in cooperation with the prestigious Omdurman Islamic University of Sudan.

The Qatar Guest Center is a branch of the Shaikh Eid bin Muhammad Al Thani Charitable Association based in Doha, Qatar.

The Islaamic Studies Academy has recently finalized its accreditation with Omdurman Islamic University, which offers a variety of disciplines including Usool ud-Deen (Fundamentals of Islamic Studies).

Course Goals		Course Details
The goal of this program is to provide English-speaking Muslims (and non-Muslims) with a rare opportunity to obtain an academically and Islamically sound and accredited degree in Islamic Studies (Usool ad-Deen) and Arabic. details..
