EDUCATION
TEACHING METHODS (60 Hours)

| I. OBJECTIVES |
| |
This program aims at providing training to prospective teachers
who would be imparting education to school and college level
students. The course spreads over 50 hours of training- 40
hours of theory, 5 hours of peer teaching and another 5 hours
of classroom teaching. At the end of the course, the trainee
is expected to achieve the following goals:
- Be able to impart knowledge effectively and confidently.
- Be able to adopt teaching methodologies to suit specific
age groups.
- Be able to inculcate moral and ethical values in students.
- Be able to assess and evaluate teaching outcome and take
remedial measures.
